Crew standing at attention on the foredeck of battleship HMS Nelson.

Probably late in the war (after her 1944 refit?) but definitely after her March 1942 refit (UP mounting replaced by an octuple pom-pom on "B" turret).

Two Italian Trento-class heavy cruisers alongside ocean liners in the port of Genoa, May 14-16th 1938.

At a time when Mussolini visited the city. Probably Trento to the left and Trieste to the right as judged by the difference in lower foretops and funnels. Bolzano had angled funnel caps and a more massive bridge structure, amongst other differences.

Russian battleship Parizhskaya Kommuna (Paris Commune).

Probably in the early thirties (following her 1928 refit at the Baltic Shipyard in view of her raised and angled forward funnel).
